the judge was Jaqueline Schmit, from Luxembourg,
Quinlan: Youth Class dogs, excellent, first place!!
 and together with Jill in the Brace Class, first place!!

Herding Trials

Herding Trials held at Darraweit Guim and Lancefield on the 9th and 10th August 2003 
with USA judges - Mr S. Oxford and Mrs G. Oxford. 

Saturday 9th - Strike Me Lucky was in Pre-Trial 
(this is like the Beginners Section) 
and Qualified with a score of 81.5 in 4 mins and placed 2nd on the day for this section.
JB(007)- was in Started Level and Qualified with a score of 86 in 1min 38 sec and achieved highest in trial. 
Just taking after his Mum (Ch. Shearersmate Cherry - "Brandy")

Sunday 10th - Only Brandy entered - Achieving her first Qualify Score for Intermediate Level - 
76 points in 3min 44sec.
Judge Mrs G. Oxford comments - "Nice talented dog, lots of drive.

First Registered Kelpie to
obtain a Herding Title in Australia

On the 26th July 
Australian Champion Shearersmate Cherry "Brandy" 
obtained her third pass in Herding Title 1. 
This now qualifies her as the first ANKC registered kelpie to obtain this title.
In 3 trials she received 3 passes and two being the highest scoring, best time and best in trial for the day. 
Her first trial in November 2002 Scored 95/100 in 2 min 45 sec, and best in herding trial, 
2nd trial in March 2003 Scored 71/100 in 1 min 46 sec,
3rd trial in July 2003 Scored 95/100 in 1 min 30 sec, and best in herding trial, again.
Now aiming for the intermediate level title!
